Employers have told educators that problem solving is one of the employability skills that is most important for students to build. Additional research shows that gaming develops many levels of problem-solving skills, including future problem solving and problem-based learning. eSports provides students an opportunity to develop those skills in a team-based environment. 


Elementary Esports

Students in grades K-5 will start with Minecraft, being introduced to STEM concepts through gaming. 

Middle School Esports

Students in grades 6-8 will continue to have access to Minecraft and be introduced to Rocket League. This will continue a focus on STEM concepts and introduce competition aspects. Check out this additional resource to learn more. 

High School Esports

Students in grades 9-12 will have the opportunity to participate in eSports as part of the largest eSports league in the country. STEM will continue to be part of the focus, with four games supported. Click here to take the Survey for eSports.
